Buyer FAQ

What buyers ask before they order from Peptific

Sharp answers to the questions researchers actually ask — purity, lot tracking, COA access, shipping speed, damage policy. No hedging, no architecture-talk.

The short answer

Every lot is HPLC-tested by an independent lab — COA on request, tied to your lot.
Lyophilized in glass vials, sealed under inert gas, lot-tracked end-to-end.
Damaged or wrong? We replace it. Standard returns on intact product are not offered.

What is actually in the vial?

Lyophilized peptide, sterile-filtered, sealed under inert gas in a glass vial. Each vial is labeled with the compound name, fill amount, and a unique lot ID printed on the vial itself.

The vial is what ships. We do not ship reconstitution liquid — bacteriostatic water is purchased separately if your research protocol requires it.

How do you verify purity?

Every lot is tested by an independent third-party analytical lab using HPLC for identity and purity. The Certificate of Analysis (COA) is tied to the exact lot ID printed on the vial you receive.

If you want to see the COA for a specific lot before you order, ask. We will send the most recent lot's COA on request.

Can I get the COA before I order?

Yes. Email research@peptific.com with the compound name and we will send the most recent lot's Certificate of Analysis. There is no gate, no qualification step, no upsell.

After your order ships, you can also request the COA tied to your specific lot ID by replying to your shipping confirmation.

Where does it ship from? How fast?

Orders ship from a temperature-controlled US fulfillment facility via tracked carrier. Most orders enter the carrier flow within 1-2 business days of confirmation.

Tracking is sent at label creation. If a shipment is split or partially fulfilled, tracking updates follow the actual events, not a generic timeline.

What happens if my vial arrives damaged or wrong?

If a vial arrives broken, mis-labeled, short of the listed fill amount, or different from what the product page represented — we replace it. Email research@peptific.com with your order number and a photo of the issue.

Standard returns on intact, correctly-shipped product are not offered, because the compound has left controlled custody and cannot be re-introduced into stock.

What is the difference between live and reference-only products?

Live products are currently fulfillable — pricing is real, the buy box is active, and the order will be processed.

Reference-only products are listed in the catalog so researchers can find compound information, but are not currently in active supply. The page state always reflects reality. Live alternatives in the same research class are surfaced when available.

Are these products for human use?

No. Peptific products are sold strictly for laboratory and preclinical research purposes. They have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, dosage guidance, or a clinical protocol. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health decisions.

Who can buy from Peptific?

Qualified researchers aged 18 or older intending to use product for legitimate laboratory work. Placing an order constitutes acknowledgment of those eligibility terms.

We do not sell to individuals intending self-administration or non-research consumption.
